It's pretty rare that I make a post with photography that's topical and politically significant in an immediate way, but this is pretty important. I find it shameful that many Americans have only just now (as in, the past couple of weeks) started to have an awareness of the severity of the current Ebola epidemic. It's important that we keep in mind just how drastically it's changed the lives of people in West Africa. Close to 5,000 people in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea have died from it so far, and the numbers are still rising.
